Registered Nurse 

Full Time Staff RN for Primary Care Practice and Patient Centered Medical Home

We are looking for a dynamic RN to join our growing interdisciplinary team of professionals.

We have a full time, Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays day shift position for the right candidate.

Sheridan Medical Group is a progressive, innovative, and growing Family Practice that is also certified as a patient centered medical home offering services to our patients that expand beyond their traditional medical needs.

The practice offers the expertise of registered dieticians, a medically oriented gym staffed by physical therapists, social services to include behavioral health, and pharmacists who all assist our patients in a plethora of ways. We are definitely not your typical primary care group; going above and beyond is not what we posit to do, it’s what we do every day.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for excellence, be a person with integrity, have strong organizational skills, and a broad skill set to meet the demands of our diverse population. A minimum of 1 year relevant clinical experience preferred and Medent/EMR experience a plus.

Essential competencies for this position include: Face-to-face & telephonic patient education/engagement; Rooming patients;  Collecting past/present medical, social & family history;  Vital Signs; Medication reconciliation, Vaccination administration, Specimen collection with in-house testing; Administering EKGs and Spirometry; and Chronic disease management within scope of practice. Candidate must be detail oriented, possess excellent communication and organizational skills; have the ability to multitask and adapt in a changing, fast-paced primary care environment.

Education Requirements: Current NYS RN licensure. CPR certification a plus.
